I noticed recently of a pattern that You Tube is presenting itself as new medium for free videos. Sure, You Tube has always been from the start been offering free videos, some are legal, some are not ( Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart ‘s company are suing You Tube for having some of their videos there ).
However, the real deal is when I noticed that You Tube has videos that are equivalent to full length movies. That is like almost like downloading the torrents ! Except, instead of worrying the speed of the download, all you have is the luxury seeing how fast YouTube load up these partial video clips which has been divided nicely over maybe a 12 short video clips.
Take for instance of a movie that normally has a run time of 120 minutes, breaking it into 9 minutes each , you get almost 13 small clips, when you view them all in order, you get the whole deal.
However, I guess not many are aware of this “facility” as most of these videos are hidden either category of “Pets & Animals” or “People & Blogs” , “well hidden” indeed.
