PETALING JAYA: President of the Senate Tan Sri Dr Abdul Hamid Pawanteh will represent Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the opening ceremony of the 11th OIC Summit to officially hand over the chairmanship of the summit to Republic of Senegal President Abdoulaye Wade.
The conference will be held in Dakar, Senegal, on March 13 and 14.
Malaysia will be handing over the chairmanship after holding the position for more than four years, since October 2003.

Doesn't matter the chairmanship has been handed over, Malaysia still can contribute a lot effort for the betterment of ummah all over the world.
