SUNGAI PETANI: A teacher is suing a parent for defamation for allegedly lodging a false report against her.
E. Kogiladevi, 27, from SRK (T) Kalaimagal in Taman Sri Gedong here, filed the suit against T. Rukumani, 42, a housewife, at a Sessions Court here yesterday through her lawyer Tan Yoon Joo.
She is claiming RM250,000 for general damages, special damages, exemplary cost, interest and other costs.
In her statement of claim, Kogiladevi claimed that Rukumani had on July 25 last year lodged a police report alleging that a Bahasa Malaysia teacher had caned her (Rukumani's) daughter and knuckled her head a day before.

Is it the first case in Malaysia ? when teacher sues parent. May be that teachear no longer able to tolerate with the police report lodged to her. If she wins this case and allows to claim RM250K, she will become rich. Quater millionaire. It is definately 1000 times better than blogging for the seek of adsense allowances.
