Earthquake hits Sumatra

Yesterday two strong earthquakes which hit southern Sumatra sent tremors through the west coast states of Peninsular Malaysia. The Malaysian Meteorological Department however assured the people that there was a “very slim” possibility of a tsunami.

I'm not sure what is the slim tsunami, how slim it is and how dangerous is the "slim tsunami"... as reported by the Malaysian Meteorological Department. For me, tsunami is still tsunami. If there is any tsunami, the alarm must be annouced to the people.
